Missing Newark Woman with Dementia Sought by Police

Newark, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is seeking the aid of the public in locating Cheryl Ann Patricia Hodge, a 61-year-old Newark resident who was reported missing on Saturday, May 4.

Hodge, who suffers from dementia, was last spotted at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the 100 block of Chancellor Avenue. She is 5’7” tall, 165 pounds, with a dark complexion, and her hair styled in gray and black box braids. She might be wearing an orange shirt, black leggings, and black Ugg boots.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cheryl Ann Patricia Hodge is encouraged to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Police Division’s website.
