D.C. Police Apprehend Suspect in Dangerous Weapon Assault

Washington, D.C. – In connection with an assault involving a dangerous weapon in Southeast D.C., an arrest has been made by authorities from the Seventh District of MPD.

The incident occurred on Friday, May 5, at around 3:36 p.m., at an apartment complex in the 3100 block of Naylor Road. The victim was assaulted in the hallway by the suspect, who subsequently brandished a firearm before fleeing.

32-year-old Antonio Johnson, a resident of Southeast, was apprehended on Friday, May 3, following investigations. Johnson faces charges of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Further investigation revealed a prior relationship between the victim and the suspect.
