D.C. Stabbing Suspect Nabbed By Police

Washington, D.C. – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District have swiftly arrested a suspect following a stabbing incident in Northwest.

Last night, at approximately 9:17 p.m., officers from the First District were alerted by the victim, who had been stabbed in the 600 block of H Street, Northwest. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Shortly after, responding officers detained a suspect near the scene. Subsequently, 32-year-old Tanade Qarn Warsame, of Northwest, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon following the detectives’ investigation.
