Elderly NYC Woman Who Left Home Without Her Shoes Missing in Queens

QUEENS, NY—The New York City Police Department is seeking help from the public to locate 83-year-old Rosa Simo, who has been reported missing since early Tuesday morning, May 7, 2024. Rosa was last seen at around 2:00 a.m., leaving her residence at 25-63 48 Street in Queens, which falls under the jurisdiction of the 114th Precinct.

Rosa Simo is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5’0″ tall, weighing around 120 pounds, with a slim build. She was last observed wearing a brown sweater, blue pants, and socks, but notably without shoes. Given her age and the circumstances of her disappearance, there is considerable concern for her well-being.
