Police Seek Two Suspects, Stolen Jeep in D.C. Carjacking

Washington, D.C. – Authorities are appealing for help to find suspects involved in an armed carjacking in Southeast D.C. The incident occurred at 12:43 PM on Monday at the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. During the incident, one suspect threatened the victim with a firearm, demanding property and vehicle keys. After the victim complied, one suspect escaped in the stolen vehicle while the other left in an awaiting vehicle.

The carjacked vehicle is a burgundy 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, sporting a Maryland license plate marked 13515CM. Both suspects and their escape vehicle were captured on surveillance footage.
