Female MTA Conductor Assaulted at Parkchester Station

NEW YORK, NY — A 52-year-old female MTA conductor was assaulted while on duty on a northbound 6 train at the Parkchester Station on Tuesday at around 3:15 PM. During routine train inspection, an unidentified woman initiated a verbal altercation with the conductor and subsequently punched her in the face.

The assailant, described as having a medium complexion and aged between 25 to 35 years, was last seen wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt, gray camouflage pants, and black boots. She fled the station on foot immediately after the incident. The conductor sustained minor injuries and was transported by EMS to Montefiore Medical Center in stable condition.

Authorities are actively searching for the suspect and request anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward to assist with the investigation.
