Shoplifting Incident Thwarted by Employees at Maryland Walmart

STAFFORD, MD — A shoplifting incident was thwarted at the Walmart on 217 Garrisonville Road on Monday morning. Deputy R.A. Peterson responded to the scene at 11:06 AM after a DIY enthusiast tried to exit the store with tools valued over $220.

Store staff intervened, halting the individual before he could leave the premises. Following the confrontation, he was issued a summons for shoplifting.
