Shooting Incident on Lloyd Street Sends One to Hospital, One to Jail

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Early Thursday morning, a 30-year-old man was shot in the back right shoulder at 2500 Lloyd Street. Following the incident, which occurred at 7:53 AM, the injured man was taken to Presbyterian Hospital by police.

He is currently in stable condition. Authorities have secured the scene and recovered a firearm from the victim, who is now detained as a prisoner at the hospital.

The suspect’s name was not released at this time.
