Two Critical After Head-On Crash in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A severe auto collision on the 200 block of Hunting Park Avenue resulted in critical injuries last night around 9:44 PM.

The crash involved a 2010 Nissan Rogue, which was traveling eastbound when it crossed into the oncoming lane, striking a 2002 Toyota Corolla traveling westbound.

Emergency responders from the Philadelphia Fire Department’s Medic 24 rushed the critically injured occupants of the Toyota to Temple Hospital. Simultaneously,

Philadelphia Medic 39 transported the occupants of the Nissan to Albert Einstein Hospital, where the driver underwent surgery for critical injuries, and the passenger received treatment for a broken arm.

The Crash Investigation Division of the Philadelphia Police is handling the ongoing investigation into the incident.
