Holmdel Chipotle Closed for Repairs After Drive-Thru Mishap, Car Drove Through Wall

HOLMDEL, NJ – A parking mishap led to a vehicle crashing into a Chipotle restaurant on Route 35 this Tuesday at approximately 4:05 PM. The car, attempting to park, hopped on the curb and drove into the wall, damaging the interior of the building.

Despite the significant impact, no injuries were reported inside the restaurant.

The driver, however, was transported to Bayshore Hospital due to complaints of back pain. Emergency response teams from Holmdel First Aid and Holmdel Fire Department were on the scene to assist.

Holmdel Construction officials have stated that the Chipotle location will remain closed until necessary repairs are made to the damaged building.
