Anti-Trump Candidate Running for U.S. Senate Has Close Ties to Chris Christie

MENDHAM, NJ – Mendham Mayor Christine Serrano Glassner, recently endorsed by former President Donald Trump for the U.S. Senate, has unveiled a new campaign advertisement. The ad, which emphasizes her conservative values, was released following Trump’s endorsement and contrasts sharply with her opponent, Curtis Bashaw.

Bashaw, described in the ad as a “never-Trumper,” has reportedly donated significant amounts to Democratic candidates and opposed Trump in previous presidential elections.

The advertisement highlights Trump’s praise for Serrano Glassner at a rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, where he called her “a fantastic woman” and gave her his “Complete and Total Endorsement” while labeling Bashaw as “a [Chris] Christie person.”

Bashaw donated thousands of dollars to former Governor Chris Christie’s failed presidential campaign. That campaign was rooted on a single issue, to defeat Trump.

The Serrano Glassner campaign has committed to a six-figure ad buy to promote this message to voters before the primary election on June 4, promising to “stop Biden’s amnesty, finish Trump’s wall, and fight for law and order.”
