Argument Leads To Stabbing In D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC – A swift arrest has been made following a stabbing in Northeast D.C. Police announced that 26-year-old Sebastian Gustav Fonseca-Gomez is now in custody.

The altercation occurred at the intersection of 7th and A Streets on Wednesday afternoon, around 1:16 p.m. Following an argument, Fonseca-Gomez reportedly used pepper spray on the victim before a physical struggle led to the stabbing. Officers on the scene quickly apprehended the suspect and recovered a knife.

Fonseca-Gomez, a resident of Northeast D.C., has been charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. The victim received treatment for minor injuries at the scene.
