Atlantic City, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department is updating a news release regarding a woman arrested during a stolen vehicle investigation. Identified as Caitlin Rainey, she provided her sister’s identity information during her arrest and was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. Caitlin Rainey was subsequently released with a court date.
On Saturday, Aine Wallace informed the ACPD of the identity discrepancy, revealing that Rainey had used multiple aliases in the past to evade arrest warrants. A warrant is now issued for Rainey’s arrest alongside charges connected to the vehicle theft and false identity usage.
Caitlin Rainey, 33, from Northfield, NJ, is wanted on multiple charges, including receiving stolen property, joyriding, possession of drug paraphernalia, identity theft, and hindering apprehension. The presumption of innocence applies until guilt is proven in the court of law for all criminal charges.
