NEW YORK, NY — An off-duty NYPD School Safety Agent, Brian Frett, 38, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault on Friday within the 81st Precinct. The arrest occurred at 4:54 PM, according to the New York City Police Department.

Frett is now facing legal proceedings following the charge. Details surrounding the circumstances of the assault have not been released. The case continues to be under investigation.
