D.C. Burglary Suspect Caught On Camera

WASHINGTON, DC – A burglary in Northwest Washington has prompted the D.C. Metro Police Department to seek help from the public in identifying the involved suspect. The incident occurred on Wednesday around 3:30 PM in a residence on the 1200 block of Girard Street.

The suspect, who was recorded on surveillance cameras, made an unlawful entry through a side window of the unoccupied home, stole various items, and then fled the area. Photos of the suspect have been released by the police.

Authorities urge anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to contact the police at (202) 727-9099. They can also send tips via text to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411, but are advised not to approach the suspect directly.
