NYC Department of Education Employee Arrested on Child Welfare and Harassment Charges

NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department has made an arrest in a child welfare incident today.

According to police, an employee of the New York City Department of Education was arrested and charged on Friday within the 49th Precinct.

At approximately 3:52 PM, 23-year-old Estevan Hamilton faced charges including endangering the welfare of a child and first-degree harassment.

Police did not release any further information on this incident.
