Brooklyn Man Fatally Shot Early Sunday Morning

BROOKLYN, NY—Early Sunday morning, police were called to the scene of a shooting at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Wortman Avenue in the 75th Precinct.

A 60-year-old man, identified as Anthony Haughton of Watkins Street, Brooklyn, was found with a gunshot wound to his torso. Emergency Medical Services transported Haughton to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

He was killed in the Penn Track area of the neighborhood.
