Police Seek Masked Man Wanted for Knifepoint Rape in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, MA – The Cambridge Police Department is actively investigating a sexual assault reported to have occurred on Friday at approximately 9:18 p.m. in the Cambridgepark Drive area.

The assailant, described as a masked man wielding a knife, assaulted the victim in a commercial building restroom.

In response to the incident, the Cambridge Police, along with the Massachusetts State Police and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, are working diligently to process the gathered evidence and identify the suspect. The police have increased patrols in the area as a precautionary measure.
