Police Find Patient Involved in South Jersey Crash Shot

Voorhees Township, N.J. – The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Voorhees Police Department have launched an investigation into the shooting of a Voorhees man on Friday night.

The incident occurred at around 11:13 p.m. on Friday, at the intersection of Route 73 and Cooper Road, when officers responded to a multi-vehicle crash.

One of the drivers involved, a 30-year-old male from Voorhees, was found to be suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was promptly taken to Cooper University Hospital by ambulance and is currently receiving treatment there.
