Teacher’s Car Stolen from D.C. High School Parking Lot

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A car theft occurred at H.D. Woodson High School in Northeast, D.C., near the Maryland Border. A teacher’s vehicle was stolen directly from the school’s parking lot during school hours.

The incident unfolded while the teacher, who remains unnamed, was conducting her third-period class. She reported to the police that after placing her purse in the classroom, she believed someone had taken the car keys from it.

A fellow school employee alerted her that her vehicle was being driven away. Additionally, a witness in the parking lot observed the suspect entering and driving off in a white Porsche truck.

The suspect’s identity, including whether they are a student at the school, remains undetermined as investigations continue.
