Stabbing Spree at Movie Theater and McDonald’s Leaves Six Young Girls Injured

BRAINTREE, MA — A man connected to a murder investigation carried out a series of unprovoked stabbings on Saturday, attacking four girls inside the AMC Braintree 10 and later two others at a McDonald’s in Plymouth, MA.

The attacks began around 6 p.m. when the suspect, bypassing the ticket booth, entered a movie theater at the AMC complex and stabbed four girls, ranging in age from 9 to 17.

Braintree police confirmed the victims were taken to Boston-area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

An AMC employee described the attacker as wearing “an oversized trench coat, sunglasses, and a long blonde wig,” details provided to CBS Boston. After the initial assault, the suspect fled the scene in a black SUV, driving over 30 miles to Plymouth, where he was involved in a “similar assault” at a McDonald’s, injuring two additional individuals.
