NEW YORK, NY—An arrest has been made following an alarming incident at the West 28th Street subway station earlier this year. Nile Taylor, a 49-year-old undomiciled male, was charged with attempted assault, reckless endangerment, and arson.

On Monday, February 5, at around 7:40 PM, Taylor allegedly threw a lit container of flammable liquid at a group of people on the southbound “1” train platform. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported as a result of this dangerous act.

Taylor fled the scene immediately after the incident but has since been apprehended by the authorities. The investigation into this event continues.
