Man Who Stabbed Four Girls at Movie Theater Suspected Of Murder in Connecticut

BOSTON, MA—Jared Ravizza has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident at an AMC theater in Massachusetts that left four people injured. The police have also identified Ravizza as a suspect in a separate murder investigation in Connecticut.

The suspect, 26-year-old Jason Ravizza of Martha’s Vineyard, is believed to be involved in another violent crime in Deep River, Connecticut. According to reports from WCVB, police discovered a body at the address related to this investigation around 3:30 PM on Saturday.

Police say he also drove thirty miles and stabbed two employees at a McDonald’s restaurant.

In Connecticut, State Police responded to a report of a suspicious incident in Westbrook on Saturday at around 3:36 p.m. That victim’s identity is unknown, but Ravizza is also suspected in that murder.

Ravizza, whose father, Jared, is an acclaimed sports psychiatrist, identifies as a woman and has been reported to be a trans activist.

The ongoing investigations in both Massachusetts and Connecticut are being closely coordinated as authorities seek to understand the connections between these violent acts. Further details are expected as the investigations continue.
