West Long Branch Police Honor the Fallen on Memorial Day

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ — The West Long Branch Police Department played a significant role in the Memorial Day celebrations, honoring the sacrifice of military personnel who have served and died for the nation’s freedom.

This Memorial Day, the local police were actively involved in the inaugural Dennis A. Vaccaro Foundation 5K run, which took place throughout West Long Branch. The event received additional support from the Monmouth Beach Police Department, which provided a motorcycle escort for the runners.

Following the run, the annual West Long Branch Memorial Day service was held at the West Long Branch Community Center. The police department expressed their appreciation for all those who participated in the day’s events and extended their gratitude to all military members, past and present, for their service to the country.
