Bensalem Robbery Suspect Arrested

BENSALEM, PA – Bensalem Township Police swiftly responded to a robbery incident that originated in Warminster Township on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. According to police reports, the incident unfolded around 2:13 PM when a black Dodge Charger, reportedly involved in the robbery, was spotted speeding eastward on Street Road towards Bensalem.

A witness reported seeing an object being thrown from the vehicle near the intersection of Street Road and Trevose Road. Police were able to track the vehicle to its last observed location near Street Road and Brookwood Drive. Shortly thereafter, a 9-1-1 caller reported the vehicle was abandoned at the intersection of Brown Avenue and Olga Avenue in the Eddington section of Bensalem. Two males were seen exiting the vehicle; however, further investigation revealed that only one person was in the car when it was ditched.

The suspect was located by officers on Woodbine Avenue at Eddington Avenue, detained, and transported to the Bensalem Township Police Department for questioning. During the search operation, a cell phone was recovered near the train tracks at Street and Trevose Roads and handed over to the Warminster Township Police for further investigation.

Warminster Police Detectives are involved in the ongoing investigation, which includes towing the involved vehicle and interviewing the detained suspect at the Bensalem Township Police Department.
