Man Assaulted and Robbed in Queens

QUEENS, NY—A 46-year-old man was assaulted and robbed of his wallet on Saturday at approximately 6:40 AM near the intersection of 92nd Street and Elmhurst Avenue. The incident occurred when an unidentified male approached the victim’s vehicle, leading to a confrontation after the victim stepped out to speak with him.

The assailant forcibly took the victim’s wallet from the vehicle, containing credit cards and approximately $70. A physical altercation followed, during which the victim was punched multiple times in the face. The suspect then fled eastbound on 37th Avenue on foot. Despite sustaining minor injuries, the victim declined medical treatment.

The perpetrator is described as a male with a medium complexion, last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and white sneakers. The police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist with the investigation.
