Cumberland Police Issue Citation for Theft at Local Business

CUMBERLAND, MD – On Friday, Cumberland Police responded to a theft report at a Park Street business. Officers arrived and consulted with store managers about the incident.

The suspect, identified as 55-year-old Dawn Williams of Cumberland, was accused of taking items without payment. The value of the stolen items was less than $100.

Ms. Williams was issued a criminal citation for theft and was subsequently released. The case highlights ongoing issues of petty theft in local businesses.
