Cumberland Woman Arrested Following Poolside Assault

CUMBERLAND, MD – An altercation at Constitution Park Pool led to the arrest of a Cumberland woman on Saturday, according to the Cumberland Police Department.

On June 1, officers were dispatched to the pool after reports of an active fight. Their investigation revealed that Xianna Letese Kesler, 33, of Cumberland, assaulted three individuals following a minor provocation. The incident began when one of the victims splashed water on Kesler, who responded by attacking the individual, striking them in the face with a closed fist and causing a bloody nose. Two other victims who attempted to intervene and help were also assaulted.

After assessing the injuries and gathering accounts from witnesses and park employees, officers identified Kesler as the primary aggressor. She was subsequently arrested and taken to the Allegany County Detention Center.
