Police Investigating Multiple Robberies in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to a series of robberies within the 50th Precinct. Jordany Reyes, a 29-year-old male residing at 555 West 159 Street in Manhattan, was apprehended on May 29, 2024, at 9:00 PM. Reyes faces charges of second-degree and third-degree robbery.

In a separate incident, the NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance to identify two males involved in a violent robbery that occurred earlier in the month. On May 1, 2024, around 3:30 AM, a 49-year-old female was attacked outside 3001 Kingsbridge Terrace. The suspects forcibly removed her purse, cellphone, and other property. During the robbery, one assailant repeatedly punched the victim in the head and face. The individuals then fled on foot. Fortunately, the victim sustained only minor injuries and declined medical attention.

The police have released media depicting the suspects and urge anyone with information to come forward to help solve this crime.
