D.C. Police Hunt for Burglar After Home Invasion

WASHINGTON, DC—The D.C. Metro Police Department is actively investigating a burglary at a Northwest residence.

The incident occurred early Sunday morning at approximately 6:35 a.m. in the 1500 block of 8th Street, Northwest. Patrol officers noticed an ajar back door at the residence, prompting an investigation. It was discovered that an intruder had entered the home, stolen personal property, and fled.

The suspect was recorded on a surveillance camera.
