Allegheny County Police Provide Update on Hookah Lounge Shooting

Pittsburgh, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department has provided an update on the recent shooting at Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar. Five victims have been treated and released from the hospital, while two remaining victims, an adult male and an adult female, are still hospitalized but expected to survive.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Detectives are working to identify and interview witnesses. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.

Detectives have also discovered that the business was operating without a liquor license. Investigators will consult with the District Attorney’s office to determine if further action is necessary.
