Investigation Underway After Gunshots Heard in Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, VA—Early morning gunfire prompted a police response in Woodbridge, with no injuries or property damage reported. Officers arrived at the 12700 block of Cara Drive around 2:42 a.m. on June 2, following reports of gunshots.

The caller reported being awakened by the gunfire. Upon investigating, officers found multiple shell casings on Cara Drive near Elysian Drive. The incident is currently under investigation as reckless handling of a firearm.
