Explosion Reported in Wall Township, One Injured

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Wall Township emergency services responded to an incident earlier today after reports of an explosion at an industrial facility. The event occurred at 5008 Industrial Road and initially involved a fire and a report of someone trapped.

Upon arrival, emergency responders quickly managed the situation. The fire has since been extinguished, and although the road was closed temporarily in both directions to allow for emergency operations, it has now reopened.

Officials confirmed there is one burn victim who sustained moderate injuries. The individual is currently receiving medical treatment. Authorities have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat following the incident.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available. Wall Township Police and Fire Departments are continuing their examination of the scene.
