STAFFORD COUNTY, VA – A residence on Susan Street was the scene of a break-in early Monday morning, where personal belongings were damaged and electronics stolen.

The incident occurred at 6:03 a.m. and is linked to a previous assault report from the same location.

Deputy C.D. Sullivan responded to the break-in at the home of the woman involved in the earlier reported assault.

According to the victim, an unidentified intruder unlawfully entered her home, poured bleach on her possessions, and stole various electronic items. Authorities have identified a person of interest in relation to the incident, though the investigation remains active as they work to confirm details and motive behind the crime.
