Delaware Gas Station Held Up at Gunpoint

NEW CASTLE, DE – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a robbery that took place early Tuesday morning at a Dash In gas station in New Castle. The incident was reported to have occurred at approximately 4:55 AM at the location on 154 North Dupont Highway.

An unidentified white male suspect is believed to have entered the Dash In and coerced the on-duty employee to empty the cash register. During the incident, the suspect lifted his shirt to display a handgun, prompting the employee to comply. Subsequently, the suspect fled on foot toward the Airport Plaza Shopping Center with an undisclosed sum of money.

The suspect was described as a white male dressed in dark clothing and wearing a mask. As of now, no surveillance footage or images of the incident have been released.
