NEW ROCHELLE, NY—On Tuesday evening, New Rochelle Detectives at D’Onofrio Field conducted a routine investigation and arrested two individuals. Around 5:33 PM, detectives located a vehicle suspected of being involved in a menacing incident with a handgun the previous day.

Upon approaching the vehicle to interview the driver, detectives noticed brass knuckles visible inside the vehicle. Further inspection revealed that the license plate was registered to a different vehicle and displayed improperly. The driver was immediately arrested, and a subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered a 9mm Glock handgun with 17 rounds in an extended magazine.

The passenger was also arrested without incident. Following these arrests, detectives verified the driver’s involvement in the menacing incident on June 4th, and additional charges were filed related to that case.
