Baltimore Drug and Firearms Arrest

BALTIMORE, MD — Central District patrol officers arrested a 36-year-old man on Wednesday for suspected drug distribution and firearm possession. The incident occurred during a routine foot patrol in the 200 block of North Eutaw Street at approximately 6:12 AM.

Officers on patrol observed the suspect engaging in a hand-to-hand drug transaction while holding an orange prescription bottle. Upon stopping the suspect, they recovered a .22 caliber handgun along with suspected controlled dangerous substances (CDS).

The suspect was subsequently transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility (CBIF) for processing. The Baltimore Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
