Boston Police Seek Information on 2022 Aggravated Assault Case

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a severe assault that occurred in the early hours of Saturday, November 5, 2022. At approximately 1:48 AM, officers from District 1 were dispatched to 279 Tremont Street in Boston following reports of an assault in progress.

Upon arrival, witnesses described the assailant as a light-skinned Black male in his late 20s or early 30s, standing between 5’7” and 5’9” with a thin build. He reportedly has a beard and was wearing all tan-colored clothes and black high-top sneakers at the time of the incident. According to witness accounts, the suspect punched the victim in the face, causing serious brain injuries, and then fled the scene in a white party bus accompanied by several other males.

Investigations revealed that the party bus was carrying a group celebrating a 21st birthday and was headed towards the South Bay area to drop off passengers. The suspect is believed to possibly frequent the Albion, Dudley, Clifton, and Cottage Streets areas.
