Man Stabbed to Death on Park Bench at the Williamsbridge Oval

NEW YORK, NY — On Sunday, police were called to a reported stabbing at Williamsbridge Oval Field, where a 66-year-old man was found unconscious and unresponsive.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:25 AM, within the jurisdiction of the 52nd Precinct. The victim, who was seated on a park bench near Putnam Place and Reservoir Oval East, suffered multiple puncture wounds.

Emergency services rushed the man to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case. Authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.

The victim’s identity was not released at this time and no suspects have been identified.
