Deadly Shooting Reported in the Bronx

BRONX, NY — A tragic incident unfolded on Sunday in the Bronx, where police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at approximately 5:37 PM. The incident occurred near the intersection of Sacket Avenue and Williamsbridge Road in the 49th Precinct.

Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified male with gunshot wounds to the head and chest. Emergency medical services swiftly transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead. Currently, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the investigation continues as authorities seek information related to the incident.
