Elderly Man Assaulted in Bronx Dispute, NYPD Seeks Suspects

BRONX, NY — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help to identify two suspects involved in the assault of a 78-year-old man. The incident took place on Sunday, June 9, at approximately 12:25 PM inside 36 West Fordham Road, located within the 52nd Precinct.

During a dispute, one of the individuals struck the elderly man in the face, causing him to fall and sustain injuries to his jaw and teeth. The victim was promptly transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.

The assailants, last seen fleeing the scene in a black Jeep SUV, remain at large. The NYPD has released images of the suspects and is urging anyone with information about their identities or whereabouts to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
