Lima Local Claims $1 Million Prize from Lottery Scratch-off

LIMA, OH – A fortunate Lima resident has claimed a $1 million prize from the Ohio Lottery’s $20, $1,000,000 Cashword scratch-off. Choosing the cash option, the winner will pocket $500,000 before taxes, netting approximately $360,000 after a 28% deduction for state and federal taxes.

The winning ticket was purchased at a Speedway store located at 2615 N West St in Lima. The $1,000,000 Cashword game, which costs $20 per ticket, offers a top annual prize of $40,000 for 25 years. As of Thursday, two more top prizes remain up for grabs.
