Man and Woman Injured In D.C. Early Morning Shooting

Washington, D.C. — Authorities are requesting the public’s help to locate a vehicle involved in a shooting this morning in Northeast D.C.

Early Monday, at approximately 1:45 a.m., victims in the 600 block of 24th Street, Northeast, were targeted by gunfire. An adult male and female were struck and subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.

A nearby surveillance camera captured images of the suspect vehicle.

Anyone with information about this vehicle or the incident is urged to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for violent crimes in the District of Columbia.
