Multiple Vehicle Break-Ins Reported in Mount Pleasant Township

MOUNT PLEASANT TOWNSHIP, PA— The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred in Mount Pleasant Township on June 8. Several items were stolen from multiple vehicles during the afternoon.

Between 2:30 PM and 5 PM, thieves targeted two vehicles at the Stone Villa Wine Cellars parking lot on Claypike Road in Acme. The vehicles’ windows were smashed, and a wallet, tablet, sweatshirt, and purse were stolen, with the total losses valued at approximately $670.

Simultaneously, another vehicle on Ankney Hill Road was broken into. The rear driver side window was smashed, and a purse, wallet, and cash were taken.

State Police are seeking information from the public and ask anyone with knowledge of these incidents to contact them at 724-832-3288.
