Surveillance Camera Captures Suspect in D.C. Murder

Washington, D.C. — Authorities are requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in connection with the shooting death of a man on Friday night.

On Friday, at approximately 11:43 p.m., officers responded to the rear of the 1700 block of Benning Road for reports of gunshots. They found an adult male, Darryl Williams, 45, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died.

A nearby surveillance camera captured a person of interest.
