Knife-Wielding Robber Arrested In Baltimore

Baltimore, MD — A suspect has been arrested in connection with an attempted armed robbery of a business in the Central District.

On May 31, around 11 a.m., officers patrolling the unit block of Light Street were informed of an attempted robbery. An unidentified male had entered a business, brandished a knife, and demanded money from an employee. After failing to obtain any money, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.

Detectives took over the investigation, identifying the suspect and the vehicle used in the escape.

On Monday, around 7:15 p.m., Foxtrot members located the vehicle traveling in the 1800 block of Washington Boulevard. Officers conducted a traffic stop and apprehended the 49-year-old male suspect. He was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with armed robbery, among other charges.
