Wilkes-Barre Man Arrested Following Domestic Assault Incident

WILKES-BARRE, PA — A domestic dispute in Wilkes-Barre led to the arrest of 49-year-old Sean Mulligan on charges of assault. The incident occurred on June 10, 2024, at approximately 10:33 AM on the 300 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police were called to the scene following reports of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers were approached by a 38-year-old woman who reported that Mulligan had physically assaulted her before fleeing the area. The victim displayed visible injuries from the assault and received immediate treatment from EMS personnel at the scene.

Mulligan was subsequently located by police and taken into custody. Further details regarding the incident or the charges pending against Mulligan have not been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
