Baltimore Police Arrest Two for Handgun Possession

Baltimore, MD – Northeast District detectives made a significant arrest on June 9, 2024, at approximately 6:56 p.m. during proactive enforcement in the 5800 block of Belair Road.

Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation, during which they noticed the outline of a handgun in the driver’s right sweatpants pocket. Additionally, the passenger displayed characteristics of an armed person, with a noticeable bulge in his front waistband. Detectives conducted a weapon pat-down and discovered two handguns.

The detectives arrested a 21-year-old male and a 23-year-old and transported them to CBIF for processing.
