Driver Collides With NYSDOT Truck in Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY — The New York State Police are issuing a safety reminder following a close call on I-87 this morning. A vehicle collided with a New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) attenuator truck that was serving as a safety barrier for maintenance crews. The incident occurred while the crews were mowing nearby areas along the interstate.

Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported from the collision. State Police urge motorists to remain vigilant and cautious around roadwork zones to ensure the safety of both the workers and the traveling public.
