One Dead in Silver Spring Motorcycle Crash

SILVER SPRING, MD—A deadly motorcycle accident occurred early Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of a local man. Montgomery County Police and Fire Rescue units were dispatched to Columbia Pike and Fairland Road intersection at approximately 1:23 AM on June 12.

The victim, identified as 43-year-old Yuan Long Yuin from Beltsville, was found deceased at the scene. Authorities reported that Yuin was operating a green 2002 Honda CBR600 motorcycle traveling southbound on Columbia Pike.

According to the preliminary investigation, Yuin lost control of his motorcycle for unknown reasons, colliding with a guardrail and being ejected from the bike.

The Montgomery County Department of Police – Collision Reconstruction Unit is actively investigating the incident to determine the cause of the crash. T
